Infertility Screening

Hysterosalpingography (HSG) is a diagnostic procedure used to examine the female reproductive system. During the test, a contrast dye is introduced through the cervix to outline the uterus and fallopian tubes, which are then visualized on a monitor. This procedure provides valuable insights into potential infertility issues.

Preparation Guidelines:

  • Take a painkiller two hours before the procedure.
  • Wear comfortable undergarments and bring a maternity pad to wear after the test.
  • The procedure is best scheduled between the 8th and 12th day of your regular menstrual cycle.
  • It is performed by a qualified gynecologist and requires prior appointment scheduling.
  • A painkiller will be prescribed for use after the procedure to manage any discomfort.
